The Museum of Gaming History is growing and we need your support. The MoGH came to
life in 2014 with the showing of exhibits at the El Cortez Hotel and the Mob
Museum. We are working on showing several new exhibits in the coming year.
The MoGH needs your support to fund these projects. We seek to grow the hobby by
expanding interest in Gaming History. Please visit the MoGH
Donation page.

These plaques are molded where the lettering, numerals and designs are embossed;
emerging from the field. This type of construction was one of the first types
used in European casinos when plastic-type mareial first started to be used.
Chips were as small as 20mm in diameter and as large as 60mm. It was also
common for plaques to be as large as 100x150mm. This type of gaming piece
is in small scale production today, and the older and larger plaques are quite
rare.
The bicolor pieces are produced while the plastic is still in its molten
stage....and when cured, the pieces look as though they were dipped in paint.
