2014 - Atlantic City NJ.   The Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino closed permanently on September 16, 2014. This was the fourth Atlantic City casino to close in 2014, after The Atlantic Club Casino Hotel closed on January 13, 2014, Showboat Atlantic City closed on August 31, 2014 and Revel Atlantic City closed on September 2, 2014. This closing leaves approximately 1,300 former Trump Plaza and affiliated businesses located within this complex, and their employees all out of work.

1954 - Reno, NV.   El Rancho Bar opened at 3310 South Virginia St., Reno.

1980 - Las Vegas, NV.   Golden Eagle Casino opens at 2466 Las Vegas Blvd. South, on the Las Vegas Strip, closes in 9 months.

2010 - Perryville Maryland .   Hollywood Casino Perryville is a casino in Perryville, Maryland, owned and operated by Gaming and Leisure Properties. It was the first casino to open in the state on September 17, 2010. It has a gaming floor of 75,000 sq ft (7,000 m2), with over 1,500 slot machines. It also offers table games such as blackjack, craps, and roulette. There is a 10 table poker room near the casino's entrance. .

2019 - Las Vegas, NV.   Hooters Casino Hotel is rebranded as the Oyo Hotel & Casino.
